Group A/B- Begin working on ‘My World Collage’ Students are going to start by brainstorming and meeting with the teacher to discuss ideas. Students will start with cutting out images from magazines.
Thursday September 11th:
Group A- Contiune working on collage. Students will have a chance to work in different stations to make texture rubbings and different kinds of paintings for backgrounds.
Friday September 12th:
Group B- Contiune working on collage. Students will have a chance to work in different stations to make texture rubbings and different kinds of paintings for backgrounds.

Week 1: September 2-5
The first week of class is going to be an introduction into Art. We will talk about the big question of What is the world made of? How can the big question be used in the visual arts?

First day of class we are going over the art rules:

Clean up after yourself
No talking while the teacher is talking
Use your time wisely
Be creative and have fun
To get to know the students, we will make drawings in their sketchbook of events from the summer holiday.
We are going to start with a collage called My World. This project will be integrated with Language Arts. The students need to bring in Magazines that interest them. The Magazines are going to be used for the collage project.
