Monday, November 2

 

Our whole day will concentrate on the Young Authors Writing Contest.

We will focus on creating a title for our books, working on illustrations,

and checking for spelling and punctuation errors. 

Hope to see you at our book sharing on Tuesday, November 3rd at 8:20.

SS- We will look at the candidates for the local elections.

Tuesday, November 3

LA- We will share our Young Authors books today from 8:20-9:15.  Hope to

see you there!!

HW: memorize a poem by Carl Sandburg

 

SS- We will participate in class room voting for the local elections

We will add our Cornelius dates to our timelines

HW:  none

 

Wednesday, November 4

LA- Daily Grams 52 and 53

 

HW: memorize a poem by Carl Sandburg

 

SS- We will check the results of the local elections

We will have a map activity that deals with the 5 regions of the United States

HW:  none

 

Thursday, November 5

LA- Daily Grams 54 and 55

 

HW:  memorize a poem by Carl Sandburg 

 

SS- Students will be given a project: "Homeless in America"
