Service Learning

Service Learning provides the students with monthly opportunities to be active members of the community. Fourth graders serve as mentors to young children at Plaza Road Preschool in Charlotte.  They assist the preschool teachers in their morning activities, from centers to read alouds.  The fourth graders prepare lessons to teach the preschool children.  They serve as role models and mentors as they interact with the young children each month.
