Journal Assignment

Each student received a journal in class (9/10/08). Since Spanish is a Core course for 6th graders, they will complete a weekly journal assignment.

Students should write words, phrases and/or references they hear in Spanish throughout their daily happenings.  The point is to become aware of the Spanish that surrounds them even though English is our main language.  Students should write what they see or hear in their journal and also include the date and 'place'.  'Place' can be a song, billboard, T.V show, newspaper, magazine, sign, etc. I will collect Journals every WED. and return them each Thurs. At least two references must be written for each week - points will be accumulated and added to h.w. points to equal one test grade by the end of the trimester.

***Spanish takes place on Weds. & Thurs.  It is very important for students to always review their notes

from Friday - Tuesday, before each Wed. class.
