Journal Assignment

Because Spanish is a Core Course for 6th graders (and no longer and Enrichment Course), they will complete a weekly journal assignment.

Students should write words, phrases and/or references they hear in Spanish throughout their daily happenings.  The point is to become aware of the Spanish that surrounds them even though English is our main language.  Students should write what they see or hear in their journal including the date and 'place'.  'Place' can be a song, billboard, T.V show, newspaper, magazine, sign, etc. I will collect Journals every Wednesday and return them

each Thursday.  At least two references must be written down for each week - points will be accumulated and added to other h.w. points in order to equal one percent grade by the end of the trimester.
