Life Sports

Life Sports teaches the value of healthy living and its impact on the quality of life through physical activity, appraisal of personal health, fitness and injury prevention, game skills, and the promotion of sportsmanship and self-confidence. Organized sports and games include volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, bocce ball and capture the flag. Specific health topics such as human body systems, reproduction, HIV/AIDS, and nutrition and body management are addressed in science class, while topics of diversity are addressed in the humanities.
