SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING NHD DUE DATE:  Although we are not scheduled to have LA or SS on Friday, March 6, you may still hand in your NHD paper that day. It will NOT be counted as late but YOU are responsible for handing it in to me.  You must hand it in to me before 12:15 on Friday, March 6 or your NHD paper will be counted as late.

Tuesday- Understanding Islam-continued (page 3 continued), HW- Write a 1 page biography of Mohammad.  Include his early life, mid life, issues surrounding his death. (page 4)

Wednesday- Introduction to Afghanistan

Thursday- Questions on The Breadwinner and Afghanistan (page 5) HW-Get grade record sheets signed and hand in with your notebook.

Friday- Notebooks due, Map of Afghanistan and Afghan Culture

 

April 20-24  Week 6

Monday - Wednesday:  Read up to Chapter 7 in The Breadwinner.  Complete the map of Afghanistan and the Afghan Culture questions on the back.

Wednesday-Friday:  Mr. Donnelly will give assignments for The Breadwinner and Afghanistan.

*I will return from the 8th grade Washington, DC trip on Friday evening, April 24.
