5.6 Line Plots and 14.1 Measures of Central Tendency (Mean, Median, and Mode).  To find mean (average) using a line plots, make sure you count each number how many times it is in the plot.

Tuesday 12/1

14.2 Stem and Leaf Plots.  Make sure you include a key.  This is especially necessary when leaves do not represent the One's place (ex: 7|2 = 720 or 8|2 = 8.2).  Look at double stem and leaves.

14.3 Box and Whisker Diagrams.  Need to find 5 numbers: lowest, highest, median, first quartile (median of the lower half), third quartile (median of upper half).

Review: Topics: Choosing a graph (line graphs, pictographs, time lines, bar graphs, histograms, line plots, scatter plots, box and whisker plots), mean, median, mode.

Test of Chapter 5.1 to 5.7 and 14.1 to 14.3
