Are you undecided about your college major and/or your career path? That’s okay! Now is the time to be exploring your interests and how they might turn into a fulfilling career. Your career direction may play an important role in your college search, so it’s good to start narrowing down your interest areas now. These websites will be helpful in your research.

Woodlawn students will engage in individual career counseling with Mrs. Turner during the fall of 11th grade. We will use the Strong Interest Inventory as part of that process.
No matter what grade you are in, "job shadowing" is always a good idea. Tag along at work with someone who is employed in any of the fields you are curious about. Ask them where they went to college and any advice they have for someone interested in entering their profession.
Remember, it's perfectly fine to have no idea what you want to be when you grow up. Most people change their mind many times along the way to a career. But now is a great time to start looking around to see what's out there and to start thinking about how your strengths, talents, and interests can come together in a fulfilling career.
