We are very excited about the comprehensive program we have put in place for 2009-2010.  We are pleased to announce that we have contracted with Cindy Turner of The Davidson Center for college planning for our seniors.  She serves as The Davidson Center’s Director of College Counseling. She works with high school students in every stage of the college planning process and loves helping them discover and achieve their own road to success. She has visited over 80 colleges and has worked with over 150 students. Each year, she visits dozens more colleges around the country and attends various workshops and conferences with college admissions counselors.  Mrs. Turner received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Davidson College in 2000 and her Master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2005. She is a Licensed School Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and a member of the American Counselors Association.
