In May the Kindergarten class will learn songs for our Mother's day celebration and also songs to celebrate our Kindergarten graduation. We will continue singing songs that help us integrate Chickens and Space and Community helpers.  Kindergarten will also continue working toward our Night of the Arts performance. The instruments this month that we will study will be those in the Brass family.

We will learn more songs about Chickens and Space in the month of April.  Kindergarten will also sing some songs that help us with our spelling. We will continue working on our Woodlawn song called "Home" for our performance in May.  Mother's Day is approaching so we are going to learn a couple songs about our Moms. Our focus on instruments this month will be the Keyboards

New songs this month about Chickens and Community Helpers.  We will also begin working on songs for our Night of the Arts celebration in May.  Our focus on instruments this month will be the Percussion

So much fun this month in music!  As we continue our study of Bears, we will also sing songs about our 100 day's of school, songs about love in honor of Valentines day and even add in some songs about Reptiles!  

This month in kindergarten music class we will learn a song about Martin Luther King Jr.  We will also continue singing songs about Bears...real bears and teddy bears.  Our focus on instruments this month will be the String family.

Of course we will be singing Holiday songs to get us in the spirit of the season, but we will also being singing songs about the topics we are learning this month.  We will be singing about Bears...real bears and teddy bears.  We'll also be incorporating songs about our Mo Willems book series that we are reading.
