Anime Reflection Questions:

      1. Your teachers chose to use anime, or Japanese animation, to teach you about Japanese culture and pop culture, literary analysis, and animation. How do you think using anime affected your feelings about the unit?
      2. List a few major things you learned about Japan by watching and discussing Spirited Away.
      3. List a few ways that authors (or, in this case, directors) can create themes in their texts.
      4. Reflect on collaborating.  How did working in a group make it easier to write and animate your script? How did it make it harder? Did you learn any lessons from working in your group?
      5. Your teachers integrated their subject matter on this project – you were working on related items in social studies, language arts, math, and visual arts.  How do you feel about this (versus working on different things in each subject)?  Why?
      6. The Film Festival was designed to give you a fun finale and a reward for your hard work, while also showcasing your work for your parents.  Did you find that this added a fun component to the project? Why or why not?
      7. How did you feel about the project overall?
