SS- What's in a name? We will come up with a name for our Third Grade community. We will discuss why laws are important in a community.
LA- We will brainstorm rules and responsibilities for our own Third Grade community. Students will begin creating their own community profile to be displayed in our room.

SS- In preparation for our annual Woodlawn Day on Friday, we will begin discussing what life was like over 100 years ago. We will use the information we learned and direct our discussion to our Third Grade BIG QUESTION: How do communities change over time?
LA- Students will be given some special spelling words for the week. We will begin Daily Grams. We will complete the rough draft of our community profile and begin conferencing.
