6th Grade Language Arts
Mrs. Packard
How should I use the 6th Grade LA Class Page? Check this page at the beginning of each week to see an overview of what's coming up in LA and important links we'll use in class. This page is not a substitute for your agenda, because all of the information below can change during the week, but this page is only updated weekly. Your agenda is edited on a daily basis based on how far we get in class. If this page contradicts your agenda, your agenda is correct!
I am planning my week's schedule in advance. How much time should I schedule for LA homework? Please plan 30-35 minutes for your LA homework each night. You will have less homework on the weekends. The amount of homework you have often depends on how diligently you work during independent work times in class, but it should never surpass 45 minutes (unless you have special circumstances we've talked about). If your homework takes longer than 45 minutes to complete, stop and send me an email to let me know you're struggling (cpackard@woodlawnschool.org).
