Life Sports
Life Sports teaches the value of healthy living and its impact on the quality of life through physical activity, appraisal of personal health, fitness and injury prevention, game skills, and the promotion of sportsmanship and self-confidence. Organized sports include volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, bocce ball and yoga. High school students focus on developing a personal wellness plan and choices for healthy living. A primary goal is to have students participate in activities that help them learn to exercise at their target heart rate.
