Curriculum Map, Class Page, Class Guidelines

Pre-Calculus provides students an honors-level study of trigonometry, advanced functions,

analytic geometry, and data analysis in preparation for calculus.

Students will be asked to consider the following questions:

  •   How do we use functions and relations to model and solve problems?
  •   What problems can be modeled by periodic functions?
  •   What happens to functions as they approach their limits?
  •   How can patterns in sequences of numbers be taken advantage of to determine their sum?
  •   How can you recognize if a model is appropriate for a set of data?
