Pre-Calculus provides students an honors-level study of trigonometry, advanced functions,

analytic geometry, and data analysis in preparation for calculus.

Students will be asked to consider the following questions:

How do we use functions and relations to model and solve problems?
What problems can be modeled by periodic functions?
What happens to functions as they approach their limits?
How can patterns in sequences of numbers be taken advantage of to determine their sum?
How can you recognize if a model is appropriate for a set of data?
