Using Technology to Fuel Learning

One of the biggest advantages of being a relatively new school is that we didn't have to superimpose technology onto an already existing curriculum. Instead, we naturally integrated technology into our program from day one. Our students arrive on campus with many skills inherited from growing up in a technology-rich culture, and we attempt to help them harness the power of technology to build skills - in research, presentation, organization, communication.

We have a technical infrastructure that is well beyond what most schools of our size can offer - a wireless network encompassing all five of our buildings, wireless printing stations, digital cameras, and a set of Macintosh laptops that allow us to engage and challenge even the most tech-savvy students. In addition to the basic tools of word processing, presentation slides, and internet research, we teach students how to construct web pages and use digital photography, video, and music.
