Woodlawn Summer Camps 2010
We are pleased to offer a variety of camps at Woodlawn this summer! Please email the school at camps@woodlawnschool.org to sign up for a particular camp, unless it is indicated to register through a different email. Be sure to indicate the specific camp, name of your child, and grade level in 2010-2011. Space is limited in all camps, so we suggest early registration! Please refer to the camp details below.
Critters & Crafts
Instructor: Paula Schwartz
Session: August 2-6 (9am-12pm)
Ages: 5-8 (rising Kinder-2nd grade)
Cost: $200/week (payable to Woodlawn School)
Come one, come all to the greatest camp in town!! Your child will be mesmerized and amazed by the variety of animals presented in this interactive and educational summer experience! From the 'cute and cuddly' to the 'ewey and gooey', all six animal kingdoms will be represented. Come with your creative hat on, for the animal parade is about to begin!!
Cooking Across the Continents
Instructor: Anne Broz
Session: August 2-6 (9:30am-12:30pm)
Ages: 9-12
Cost: $200/week (payable to Woodlawn School)
Attention, young chefs! Do you love to cook, and enjoy learning about other cultures? You will be able to explore the continents of the world through the food of different cultures! As you take a geographical view of the world's continents and the cultures that inhabit them, you will prepare food indicative of those cultures, and enjoy eating your creations! No cooking experience is necessary, but an adventurous palate is!
