THIS WEEK AT A GLANCE:     October 18 - 22, 2010

We will take our quiz on helping verbs and the conjugation of the verb "to be." We will also read several hero's quests this week (Jason, Perseus, and Theseus) and start work on our Super-Myth application project.  Be looking around online and in books you own for a fun Greek myth you enjoy and might like to work with.

Your myth should be a Greek myth of about 2-3 pages in length.  While Hercules is exciting, his myth is usually hard to capture in the project we're creating.  You can choose his myth IF you think you're up for a big challenge.  Otherwise, try to find a nice sized story like the ones we read in class.  Look online, in books of Greek mythology in your own home, and at the library.
